CAMIL DUBUC

CEO / Founder

Originally from Montreal, Camil Dubuc is a natural leader and entrepreneur. Since founding Genesis Security in1997, Camil has guided his team with a well-defined vision of the company’s future. He has built a strong culture by clearly articulating goals, values, and behaviours, ensuring they are consistently applied from top to bottom and across all departments. As President / CEO, he oversees the operations of the company, including financial and human resource decisions, to ensure Genesis delivers on its promise to clients.

Camil’s empathetic, open, and optimistic approach motivates his team and instills confidence in clients. With his extensive experience and by pursuing calculated risks, he has successfully grown Genesis from scratch into one of the top five security firms in British Columbia. He acknowledges this could not have occurred without the support and dedication of a tremendous team working together, and he takes pride in his role as mentor. In addition to Genesis Security Group, Camil owns Genesis Tactical Gear Inc., Genesis Host Service Ltd., Label Productions Ltd., and he is also an Executive Producer of two movies HRT Abduction and Dead Forest under the Label Production Ltd.

Community is of great importance to Camil, and he remains an active member of The Greater Vancouver Board of Trade. He also volunteers for Conseille Jeunesse Francophone de Vancouver, teaching jujutsu and archery, and is a Treasurer and on the Board of Directors for the Security Committee of the Jules Verne High School in Vancouver. In his personal time, Camil enjoys an active, healthy lifestyle, travel, photography, and film.

TAHIRA SOHAIL BARSAL

Executive Assistant to CEO / President

Tahira Sohail Barsal has joined in 2023 the team as the Executive Assistant to Camil Dubuc. With over a decade of experience under her belt, Tahira brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role.

Starting her career journey over 10 years ago, Tahira has honed her skills in various administrative capacities, demonstrating her commitment and dedication every step of the way. Her exceptional organizational abilities, coupled with her keen attention to detail, have made her a valuable asset to any team she’s been a part of.

In her role as Executive Assistant, Tahira works closely with Camil Dubuc, ensuring smooth and efficient operations of his multiple businesses within the organization. Her responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, and providing crucial support to the CEO. With her proactive approach and strong work ethic, Tahira plays a vital role in ensuring that the CEO’s office functions seamlessly.

Tahira’s tenure with the team may be relatively short, but her impact has already been felt across the organization. Her professionalism, adaptability, and problem-solving skills have earned her recognition among her colleagues. As she continues to settle into her role, Tahira remains committed to upholding the highest standards of excellence in her work, contributing to the overall success of the organizations.

ROBERT BEARDMORE

VP, Operations

Robert Beardmore’s dedication to Genesis Security as a VP, Operations is illustrated by his strong work ethic, attention to detail, client-centric focus, and leadership abilities.

Manifesting the company’s core value system and adopting a professional and positive attitude, Robert works with clients to provide the best possible experience, while pursuing the company’s objectives.

Prior to joining Genesis in 2014, he worked for a Vancouver Island-based security firm and studied Criminology at Vancouver Island University.

MIKE MONTIAM

Senior VP, Strategy & Business Development

Mike brings a distinguished record of driving market expansion and managing complex client relationships built over 15+ years in the corporate finance sector. In his new role as SVP of Strategy and Business Development, he will leverage his expertise in fostering anchor partnerships, precise deal execution, and setting technology-enabled strategic direction to deliver top-tier security solutions to meet the evolving needs of clients across various industries. Mike holds a business administration degree from York University and is a CFA charter holder.

ALVIN FABIEN

Director, Finance

As Director, Finance, Alvin Fabien implements an elevated level of precision, analytical thinking, and integrity. Dedicated to Genesis Security since 2010, he has demonstrated himself as a leader, working well under pressure and within a team setting, and contributing to Genesis’s development to become a frontrunner in the industry.

He first honed his strong mathematical skills through an Accounting Diploma and as a Payroll Compliance Practitioner.

Alvin also enjoys photography, hiking, and traveling.

CHRIS WONG

Human Resources Manager

Chris Wong directly influences the procurement, growth, and preservation of Genesis Security’s team. With over 30 years of experience in HR, both nationally and internationally, Chris provides expertise in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, health and safety, manpower planning, and HR consulting and administration.

She exemplifies the importance of building a solid team environment, communicating effectively, and developing productive relationships. Her unwavering empathy and dedication continue to directly benefit Genesis and our staff.

BRYAN QUAN

Corporate Brand Director

Bryan Quan is a UBC graduate with a background in rehabilitation and marketing. His focus is to establish Genesis as a top-tier name in security services, renowned for its unwavering commitment to excellence and a culture rooted in care. Bryan has led initiatives to bolster corporate brands, including structured social media campaigns and plans for innovative approaches like meta-ads and email marketing. He designs company campaigns with their core values and ethics in mind.

Outside of his role, Bryan specializes in website development and online marketing for various businesses. Balancing professional responsibilities and personal interests is key. Bryan relies on organized schedules to dedicate quality time to family and hobbies.

NADAR SHER

Business Development Manager

Since 2010, I have worked in the security industry across various sectors, including residential, commercial, hospitality, and facilities management.
Experienced security Manager with (SIRA License) professional with demonstrated history of working the physical and private security 15 years in the industry. Skilled in Risk management, security training, crisis management, security operations and facilities management, security administration, completed (HSE – NVQ Level 6 – Occupational health and Safety) courses from UK.

OWAIS QARNI

Strategic Account Manager

Owais recently joined Genesis Premium Security Group in 2025 as a results-driven Strategic Account Manager. With over three years of experience, he combines psychological insights and strategic account management to strengthen client relationships and deliver measurable outcomes.

Specializing in market analysis and consumer behavior, Owais crafts strategies to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty. Proficient in digital tools, he ensures seamless client experiences and builds long-term trust.

Committed to growth, Owais actively participates in workshops to stay updated on industry trends and values communication and collaboration for success.

Kent Bryll Balicanta

Visual Content Creator

Kent Bryll Balicanta is an AI Animator and Graphic Designer from the Philippines with over seven years of experience in creative design and digital media. He specializes in creating cinematic AI-generated videos, animations, and visual content that bring stories and ideas to life through creativity and innovation.

With a strong background in graphic design, video editing, and print production, Kent combines artistic vision with modern technology to deliver engaging and impactful visual experiences. He is passionate about exploring new creative tools and continuously expanding his skills in the rapidly evolving world of AI and digital media.

Outside of his professional work, Kent enjoys playing basketball, baseball, and online games. He believes that maintaining a balance between creativity and personal interests helps inspire fresh ideas and fuels his passion for creating meaningful and immersive content.
