Genesis Security helps in missing person case with Coquitlam Search and Rescue Team

Genesis Security and a team of dedicated staff joined forces with the Coquitlam Search and Rescue Team in the continued search for missing person Shin Noh. Shin Noh, a 64 year old Coquitlam man with Alzheimer’s disease, went missing in Coquitlam after leaving his home over 10 days ago and has not returned. Various credible sightings of him have been reported throughout the Coquitlam/ Tri-cities area in recent days, which have given those involved in finding him hope that he is still alive.

Genesis Security staff David Ang and Betty Letain are Tri-Cities residents and very familiar with the area.  Together, they recruited a strong team of Genesis volunteers to help in the search. The team was prepared for cold weather and wore visible Genesis gear which enabled them to approach strangers more easily.  The search was primary targeted in the Coquitlam/ Tri-Cities area. The terrain for much of these search areas are built-up areas, suburban and did not pose a physical challenge for our staff volunteers. The Genesis team received numerous feedback from the public, therefore giving us all hope that Shin is still alive and will one day return home safely to his family.

We’d like to give special thanks to the following for volunteering:

Sukh Panesar, Aman Kandola, Gagan Cheema, David Ang, Sergiy Motorin, Maninder Hundal, Raffy Cocco, Betty Letain, Trevor Dylke, Makaela Coyle and Dave Thomas.
