On Posted on December 21, 2012 by genesis to News Genesis Festivities Galore It is never too late to give back this holiday season. Anyone can do it! Whether it is something small or big, it will always be appreciated by those unexpected. Some simple ways to give back this holiday can include donating your time, giving away gently used items, money or even new toys, clothes and non-perishable food items to various charitable organizations. Some of our Genesis staff member’s Miranda, Laura and the Via Rail staff have already taken their proactive approach by donating gently used coats to the local MPA, a non-profit charitable organization providing community based mental health service programs Genesis Security had its own celebration this past week during its staff Christmas party. Eager partygoers picked up prizes, dined, and danced the night away at FanClub on Granville Street. Special highlights of the night went out to all the hardworking Genesis guard staff who worked very hard the past year. Awards for employee recognition were handed out, voted by the employees themselves. Special thanks to Trevor Dylke and our team of security guard supervisors for taking part in the collection of new stuffed toys to be donated to the Children’s Hospital. Check us out this weekend as we will be participating in this year’s Christmas in Marpole Village event. Our community patrol team will be in there serving up delicious hot coco and providing you with information on how to have a happy and safe holiday. Hope to see you all there!
